ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
After care Grade 1 – 3: After care is provided daily at the pre-school for Grade 1 – 3 pupils by a qualified teacher for a nominal fee.
Homework is supervised in this secure and loving environment.
Private Homework Classes Grade 4 – 7 provided on the Primary School grounds for a nominal fee.
Virginia Bus: A bus that transports pupils to and from Virginia is available at an additional fee.
Homework classes: Free of charge for Grade 4 – 7 pupils from Mondays to Thursdays from 14h30 to 16h00.
Private Music Tuition: Pupils who wish to study music during school hours may to so at a nominal fee. Various musical instruments can be played.
Counseling: Outside organisations are approached to hold workshops with the pupils on various issues. Lifeline is used extensively for individual counseling.
Speech and Occupational Therapy: Qualified therapists are available at St Dominic's to assist in these areas where there may be a need. These therapists offer a satellite to our children through their own practices.
Remedial: A designated remedial teacher forms part of our staff and assists children on an individual basis where a specific need been identified.
