Extra Mural Activities
Sport: Cricket, Soccer, Hockey (field and indoor), Tennis, Squash, Rugby, Golf, Netball, Inter-house Athletics, Swimming and Scuba Diving.
Cultural & Outreach: Debating, Computer Club, Music and Drama, College Choir, Chamber Choir, Chess, JSE Challenge, Rotary Interact, Art Club, Photography Club and Cookery Club, bi-annual drama production.
Spiritual: Praise and Worship Group, OASIS, Edmund Rice Society.
Awards: Recognition is given for participation at school, Provincial and National levels by means of awarding badges, scrolls, Colour awards and Honours awards.
Excursion Week In the 3rd Term, pupils of Grades 8, 9 & 10 are involved in Excursion Week. Each group is sent to a different location around the country: coastal, mountains or bushveld.
The emphasis is on group activities and projects, environmental education, leadership and fun!
Study Week At the end of August Matric pupils have an intensive Study Week to provide final preparation for their Matric Exams.
Workshadow Programme In the third term, the Grade 11 class participates in a Workshadow programme. Pupils are placed in a work situation of the career of their choice to give them “hands on” experience.
Leadership A strong emphasis is placed on leadership development, particularly in the senior phase. Leadership camps in Grades 11 & 12 encourage leadership skills in all pupils, not just elected leaders.
